In honor of our awesome Simplus staff members located all over the world, we are thrilled to recognize Edison Hombrebueno as this month’s Simplus Hitter in the Ranks!

We wanted to learn more about Edison’s contributions to technology and some of his greatest personal and professional achievements. Edison is a talented, multi-faceted leader who strives for excellence and enables others to perform at their highest potential.

What do you do at Simplus?

As a senior delivery manager, I am responsible for leading the Philippine Delivery Center (PDC) to achieve its goals as aligned with the corporate objectives. I also provide guidance to PDC to ensure that we provide best-in-class project delivery to our internal and external clients. Finally, I am accountable for the career development and progression of the PDC resources, making them successful here at Simplus.

What are some of your hobbies?

I am really into sports. If I am not watching NBA games, I’m usually playing basketball, wakeboarding, binge-watching shows on Netflix, or reading non-fiction books. I would love to learn how to cook!

What achievements are you most proud? Either personal or professional.

Personally, I think my biggest achievement is being a good husband and a father. I feel most fulfilled when I do my best as a husband to my wife and a father to my ten-month-old daughter.

In my whole professional career, I have never been more proud of any accomplishments than what I have experienced here at Simplus. It took me years to turn around teams from my previous companies, and it only took months to do it at Simplus. I believe having a great team and tremendous support from upper management made a big difference!

Why do you like working at Simplus?

Underdog spirit. We have a culture of being accountable and supportive of one another as we achieve our goals as a company. Having customer-oriented and people-centered leaders is definitely a plus!
