Improving cross-business collaboration in the biotech industry

Feb 22, 2019 | Admin, Advisory Services, Health and Life Sciences, Implementation Services, Latest News, Sales Cloud

The healthcare space is ripe with opportunities to leverage Salesforce for better business. So when one of our biotech clients reached out to Simplus needing help with their org, we knew just what to do. This biotech leader had three divisions and seven business segments that all worked separately from one another but needed one Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud instance to collaborate on. Ultimately, the client wanted a 360-degree view of the customer.

By working with each division and segment to gather their requirements, Simplus provided the client with a new open system that included the all-encompassing visibility into the customer. This meant each sales rep has access to the same information. We also created a project object in between the account and opportunity to enhance the cross-business visibility. Now, there are 150 new onboarded users to this client’s streamlined, functional Salesforce instance.
