Using Salesforce to track sales emails

Dec 4, 2014 | Admin, Latest News, Sales Cloud

If you manage a large campaign, it can sometimes be difficult to keep track of all of your sales emails across multiple platforms. Here are a few tools you can use in Salesforce to track sales emails.

Yesware

This tool gives you templates to use as well as tracking abilities for all sales emails you send through platforms like Outlook and Gmail. The tool will automatically sync all emails you receive directly to Salesforce. It can also sync any invitations you get through your calendar as well.

The tool adds a sidebar that allows you to check Salesforce data recorded from inside either Outlook or Gmail. It gives you information about how many times people have opened your emails, how often the links were clicked, how often attachments were viewed, and so on.

Toutapp

Toutapp lets you schedule emails as an alternative for a major email campaign tool that would cost a lot more money. Additionally, Toutapp allows you to share emails with your entire sales team with just one click.

This tool also connects Salesforce into Gmail and Outlook and gives you information about who’s reading your email live as it happens. You can personally customize all of your email templates with the tool as well. The tool makes it easier to update your CRM and test to see exactly how well your email hooks are working.

Overall, it just makes good sense to integrate your sales email accounts with Salesforce so that you don’t have to switch back and forth all of the time to maintain control over your campaigns. Making sure you track sales emails efficiently is important to any business using Salesforce.
