Meet Matt Hardacker — A Simplus employee feature

Nov 24, 2021 | Admin, Latest News

Our latest employee feature is Matthew Hardacker, a digital solutions consultant specializing in Pardot here at Simplus! Matt is a recent addition to Simplus, but he has already become essential to Simplus operations with his in-depth knowledge of Pardot and keen ability to roadmap challenges with clients. We took some time to get to know Matt more with a short Q&A:

What do you do at Simplus?
I am a Digital Solutions Consultant and the Pardot Team Lead.

What are some achievements of which you are most proud? Both professionally and personally.
Personally, the most recent big achievement was getting my MBA from Texas State University. Even more recent than that is purchasing my first house (I move in Dec. 1!), especially in this market!

Professionally, I’m proud that I was able to reinvent my career so quickly and successfully. I was in a great career position a few years back that was hard to walk away from and had to work my way back up in a different area—I’m much happier now though!

What are your hobbies?
I’m a big music person, so I love to go to concerts, festivals, and such for any and every genre. I also love to travel—I most recently went to Charleston, South Carolina.

Why do you like working at Simplus?
I enjoy the ability to make the role mine through the flexibility of my direct team, which I feel has helped me adjust so quickly and see success early on.

Tell us a little bit about your professional background.
I’ve been in a consulting role for a few years, going from financial software to marketing. It’s only fitting that I got into the consulting role as my dad has been doing it for 20 something years. Prior to consulting, I worked in data analytics for a bit but realized I like client interaction and problem-solving much more

What do you feel are your greatest contributions that help make Simpus the best consulting firm?
Bringing both high-level expertise with the Pardot system as well as a different perspective on running engagements.

If you are playing Two Truths and a Lie, what answers stump people every time?
I could dunk in high school —all 5′ 9″ of me.
I’m a born and raised Texan, and I’m terrible at two-stepping.

Congratulations, Matt! Thanks for all you do to contribute to Simplus’ culture and technical expertise.

Process Standardization: The Hidden Constraint on Revenue

Most organizations believe they have a sales process. It’s documented somewhere. It shows up in CRM stages. It’s referenced in onboarding decks. And on paper, it looks consistent. But when you ask your top performers how deals actually get done, they mention gut...
