Our first employee feature of the new year is Jodi vonSpreckelsen—a recent addition and natural rockstar on our Managed Services team. Jodi’s contributions and strong leadership have already been noticed, bolstering our Prodly partnership with her expertise and promoting a positive workplace culture. We spent some time getting to know Jodi a little better, and here’s what we learned:
What do you do at Simplus?
Customer Success Manager with Managed Services.
What are some achievements of which you are most proud? Both professionally and personally.
Professionally: Being able to play a vital role in career pathing my employees and even fellow coworkers.
Personally: Winning the IWFL North American Championship (the equivalent of the Super Bowl in the NFL).
What are your hobbies?
Coaching football and rescuing dogs.
Why do you like working at Simplus?
I enjoy being able to work with a diverse group of like-minded rockstars. I have yet to meet someone at Simplus that wasn’t an outstanding human being.
Tell us a little bit about your professional background.
The majority of my work tenure has been in management/supervisory roles, but I became an accidental admin after being in a superuser test group and have been obsessed with Salesforce ever since.
What do you feel are your greatest contributions that help make Simplus the best consulting firm?
I will do everything in my power to stand up for my team, to get the job done, and to have our project overall be successful. All of that equals continued business and, with any luck, additional business through word of mouth, client testimonials, and positive reputation.
If you are playing Two Truths and a Lie, what answers stump people every time?
I operated roller coasters at Six Flags when I was 16, I am fluent in German, and I was kicked out of a Future Problem Solvers Of America event for my answer to how to reduce the national debt.
