The Challenge

LEGACY PROCESSES: PowerDMS had legacy, homegrown processes haunting its Salesforce instance. PowerDMS’ instance was only utilizing contacts and accounts—not leads—within Salesforce. This led to intensive workarounds and messy processes. OVER-CUSTOMIZATION: To compensate for not using leads in Salesforce, PowerDMS had to rely on a lot of customizations, including extra Apex code and a deduplication tool. The overdose of customization led to ultimately very manual and unwieldy workflows. LACK OF VISIBILITY: PowerDMS didn’t have strong and easy visibility into how well it was converting leads. PowerDMS wanted clearer analytics and the power to find those insights quickly.
