Limelight Networks has been working with the Salesforce platform for over 20 years, focused on the Sales Cloud and, more recently, CPQ offerings. However, Limelight was experiencing a rising number of issues with its CPQ instance. A slew of recurring error messages plagued its operational efficiency and hindered its global Salesforce org from operating at top speed due to too many IT requests waiting for a single US-based admin to address. Limelight, having worked with Simplus on a one-off project basis in the past, reached out for more consistent support through Simplus Managed Services. With the Simplus Managed Services flex utilization model and a dedicated team of expert consultants on its side, Limelight felt ready to address its CPQ concerns and start taking advantage of another new Salesforce product: Einstein.

The Outcome

How Simplus Helped Simplus Managed Services quickly gained Limelight’s faith and trust for delivering expert solutions and clear communication that aligned with Limelight’s larger business objectives. We helped Limelight quickly address its CPQ issues and streamline workflows there. Then, we moved on to revamping Einstein and expanding Limelight with innovative Salesforce practices. Initially, Limelight felt its in-house team was ill-equipped to adopt and realize the full value of Einstein. Simplus’ data practice joined forces with the Managed Services account team to get Limelight up and running with Einstein. Before, Limelight wasn’t able to match Einstein reporting to its other reporting sources. But now, six months after purchasing Einstein and with Simplus Managed Services’ assistance, Limelight now has six operating dashboards in the Sales Analytics Studio. Simplus came in with the expertise to help Limelight not only understand the Einstein product but also modify it for its specific business needs. Limelight sales managers and leaders have come to rely on and frequently use the insights found in the Einstein dashboards. Excited for Future Einstein Growth Moving forward with Simplus as its trusted Managed Services partner, Limelight is eager to build out its Einstein instance within Salesforce more. Leadership at Limelight has been impressed with the results so far and is making plans to see how more Einstein development can further its goals to grow revenue and expand new products to Limelight’s existing customers.
