The Challenge
The client exists to connect people to jobs, resources, monetary benefits, workplace protections, and labor market information to promote financial independence, workplace justice, and a strong economy. The client is comprised of seven units working together to achieve this mission. The LaborForce project with Infosys is focused on solving challenges within two of these divisions: managing skill shortages in an aging system, implementing new PFML program, creating new workflows and procedures, mediating the high cost of legacy applications, increasing synchronization across systems, and improving fraud detection.

About Administrative State Department
The client is an administrative state department responsible for administering workforce and unemployment programs. Additional functions include reemployment, workers’ compensation, disability and paid medical leave.
