Thomas Scientific: Lower costs in biotech with CPQ

Thomas Scientific is a supplier of the latest equipment to the scientific community. The company has an extensive catalog full of many quality selections for their customers. However, separate systems and poor visibility into its data management meant Thomas Scientific needed a little bit of help.

Simplus worked with Thomas Scientific to transform unwieldy quote and order processes into a streamlined workflow. Thomas Scientific took advantage of Simplus’ Custom Configuration service to implement custom quote objects within the Salesforce org that were prepared to handle the necessary data points in Thomas’ website. We also created record types for each different kind of quote and quote template in various business segments. This led to a safe but fast quote generation for Thomas Scientific and lowered costs for the sales team.
