28 Apr Meet Shawn Jensen — Simplus’ April Employee Feature
We are excited to announce our next employee feature: Shawn Jensen! Shawn is an incredible member of our Simplus delivery team. He’s known for his leadership, consistency, and team player attitude. Learn more about Shawn’s background with Salesforce and exceeding client expectations below:
What do you do at Simplus?
I am a Delivery Manager, which entails managing direct reports, presales, and client engagement.
What are some achievements of which you are most proud? Both professionally and personally.
Professionally, I love challenges. Solving problems that clients didn’t think could be solved, building tough relationships, molding difficult teams, and making those teams successful are my biggest professional achievements.
Personally, my kids’ achievements are what I am most proud of. Watching my five-year-old recently learn to read or my seven-year-old doing division, for example.
What are your hobbies?
I love surfing, riding bikes with my kids, and getting into adventures.
Why do you like working at Simplus?
I think we have a world-class group of managers and executives at Simplus who have proven themselves over the past decade with multiple companies. They make it easy to want to support their vision. There’s no shortage of challenges or opportunities, if you’re willing.
Tell us a little bit about your professional background.
I have been working with Salesforce engagements for over a decade, from configuration specialist to delivery and engagement management. I believe in the platform’s ability to solve client pain points, and I’ve seen its ability to make end users’ professional lives better.
What do you feel are your greatest contributions that help make Simplus the best consulting firm?
I don’t know what my greatest contributions are. I just try to help where I can.
If you are playing Two Truths and a Lie, what answers stump people every time?
I was a bull rider in high school.
I like to surf.
We are thrilled to have Shawn in the Simplus family. Congratulations, Shawn!
