Office/Admin Assistant

Location: Sandy, Utah Office


Your Primary Responsibilities:

Responsibilities and tasks required for this position include the following:

  • Maintain front desk presence as the ‘first impression’ of Simplus
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls and meet and greet clients and guests
  • Overall responsibility for organization and tidiness of office
  • Upkeep the image of the company in both personal conduct and grooming
  • Calendar management and executive travel arrangements
  • Event coordination
  • Ensure that the reception is neat and tidy at all times
  • Attend to all calls, both internal and external promptly and politely
  • Attend to office and equipment maintenance
  • Place food/Costco orders and arrange in the kitchen area
  • Maintenance of facilities and tidiness in meeting rooms
  • Attend to any other duties as and when directed by manager
  • Occasional out-of-office errands


Required skills:

  • The Right Attitude. This person must have a positive team-first attitude, working towards the common goal of keeping our office a great place to work and addressing items needed to make that happen
  • You’ll need to have excellent communication skills for internal associates and external clients, have experience in general office support, and also have professional maturity and dependability
  • Excellent English language skills, written and verbal, are essential to success in this role
  • Prior Receptionist and or Admin Assistant experience required
  • Excellent reception and customer service skills
  • Courteous and cheerful disposition
  • Patient and helpful
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of Google apps a plus
  • Able to multi-task and a team player
  • Shows attention to detail
  • Has a flexible, adaptable ‘can do’ attitude
  • Willingness to take responsibility
