Husband—He worked for Salesforce

 

How did (are) you train(ing) to become Salesforce Certified?

Completed trail through Salesforce Military, got to sit in on a Bootcamp class, then I was hooked.

 

What is your #salesforcemilitaryvictory story into Simplus?

I attended a Salesforce Military job fair event with some friends. I already had a job I loved, but went to support and because there was food there. Joe Carr and John Garvens were next to the hors d’oeuvres.

 

How has Salesforce Military made an impact on your life?

Salesforce Military allowed me to return to the workforce after eight years out raising my kids.

 

What does the Salesforce Military community mean to you?

Salesforce Military has been instrumental in helping me to learn a new skill, guiding me and giving me the support needed to return to the workforce, and helping provide for my family.

 

What advice do you have for new Salesforce Military members?

Salesforce Military is no gimmick. You have nothing to lose and a lot to gain.

 

What are some career-oriented goals you have?

I would like to get my hands on development in Salesforce and become an architect.

 

What are some personal (non-career) goals you have?

I would like to raise four kind and loving kids. I would like to spend as much time with them while they are still home.

 

Personal interests/hobbies:

I like to read, learn to code, and go on trips with my husband and kids.
