Forbes: Ryan Northington on sustaining remote company culture

Jun 26, 2020 | Admin, Latest News, Remote Work Consulting

Ryan Northington, President of North America Simplus, was recently featured on a Forbes expert panel on how to sustain remote company culture.

Simplus has been a remote company culture from the start and thrived on it. Ryan’s comments speak to the activities we’ve been doing to connect as a company both during this unique time and for years before. The Simplus culture has been recognized and applauded by national organizations such as Inc., Entrepreneur, Comparably, Glassdoor, and more. Sharing some of the things we’ve learned along the way about fostering great culture has never been more important, as so many organizations adjust to the new face of corporate business moving forward. While business must go on, maintaining authenticity is crucial for the company culture:

“Sometimes “corporate-sponsored” functions can seem a bit sterile. Identifying folks in the organization and supporting them with ideas or funds to hold fun virtual events (with live video) is the best way to create an authentic feel. This ultimately helps foster culture, camaraderie and trust.” —Ryan Northington
