Our latest employee feature is none other than Chris Peterkins, a rockstar CLM consultant and a well-loved team player. Chris joined Simplus in the spring of this year, and his contributions have been monumental to our DocuSign practice and accelerating contract lifecycle management for several clients. Learn more about his professional and personal background below!

What do you do at Simplus?

I am a consultant on the DocuSign team, working primarily with the DocuSign CLM product.

What are some achievements of which you are most proud? Both professionally and personally.

Running half marathons.

Creating a functional, production-ready web app for a club in college.

What are your hobbies?

Hockey, running, competitive gaming, reading, programming, and (very recently) playing guitar.

Why do you like working at Simplus?

The primary reason I like working at Simplus is the people. I work on an excellent team full of passionate, smart, go-getting people; and I see this culture permeate throughout the entire business. Simplus also provides excellent opportunities for growth and trying new things that I otherwise wouldn’t have thought I would try.

Tell us a little bit about your professional background.

I started my professional career working on a small IT team doing desktop support. After about a year of doing that, the company I was working for decided they wanted DocuSign CLM, and I was placed on the internal project team. The project was implemented by a company called Oya Solutions, and at the end of the project, they were pleased with my work and offered me a job as an implementation consultant. Eighteen months later, the entire Oya Solutions team was purchased by Deloitte. I continued to work as an implementation consultant at Deloitte for about a year before joining Simplus in April 2022.

What do you feel are your greatest contributions that help make Simplus the best consulting firm?

I only joined Simplus about seven months ago, so there hasn’t been a ton of time to contribute. But I’d say so far it’s been my work on a large DocuSign CLM implementation for a top client.
