Dec 5, 2017 | Admin

Thanks to Joe at ChannelE2E for featuring Simplus, our funding round, and fourth acquisition partner! You can read below or at the link.

Simplus has raised $9.3 million in Series B funding and continues to roll up the Salesforce partner ecosystem, this time acquiring CRM Manager. Earlier buyouts involved BaldPeak, Basati and EDL Consulting.

Simplus is a Gold Salesforce Consulting Partner and MSP that provides Quote-to-Cash implementations. The company in August 2017 announced plans to expand its workforce by 100 people, while also opening two east coast offices and another location in the Philippines. Simplus claims its customer satisfaction ratings sit within the top 1 percent of all Salesforce partners.

CRM Manager, meanwhile, specializes in Salesforce implementation, integration, and consulting services. The company has offices in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and New York City. Key areas of deployment expertise include Salesforce, Insidesales.com, and AppExchange solutions. CRM Manager CEO Andy Atkins now joins the Simplus team.

Simplus CEO Ryan Westwood indicated additional Salesforce partner buyouts are on the drawing board. “We believe there is currently an opportunity for growth in the marketplace between large advisory firms and smaller consultancies,” Westwood said in a prepared statement. “To best serve our 2,000+ clients, we will continue to acquire top-notch companies, hire exceptional talent, and expand our Salesforce services from campaign to cash. We believe the acquisition of CRM manager will help us accomplish our goals.”

Still, it’s unclear if Simplus is currently profitable. Plus, it’s a safe bet future M&A deals could involve heightened valuations. Multiple big-name companies have been trolling the Salesforce partner ecosystem for potential acquisitions. Well-known buyers in recent months have included AccentureBV Investment Partners, and Capgemini, among many others.

Your AI Agent Is Only as Smart as the Data You Feed It

Before you deploy Agentforce, you need an honest answer to one question: if an autonomous agent updated 200 accounts simultaneously based on your current CRM data, how many of those updates would be correct? There is a dangerous assumption baked into every AI agent...
